Dory is the heart and soul of Victory Farm. As both founder and director, she is the woman with the dream. Dory has brought her love for horses, years of equestrian experience, expertise and passion for helping others together with grace at Victory Farm.
Under her direct leadership she runs a successful team of volunteers and coaches while overseeing all aspects of the organization.
Mandy Hales is a Registered Nurse who believes in the power of mentorship. She dreams of one day opening her own facility that raises horses for therapeutic riding programs. Her biggest accomplishment to date has been completing her MSN in Nursing education and being accepted into a DNP program. She is a recipient of the North Carolina Great 100 and is a key player in the transition to workforce practice team at CaroMont Health. Mandy has a lifelong love of horses and devotes herself to the care, safety and welfare of our rescue horses and riders while volunteering several days a week. She participates in horse care, volunteer training and serves as a certified coach for Special Olympics.
Kelly Cheshire has been an integral part of Victory Farm for many years now. He has been a dedicated volunteer - not only assisting with our horses and our riders, but any odds and ends jobs around the farm as well. Not only is Kelly extremely kind and patient person, but he is also an extremely talented horseman.
Kelly has successfully completed the PATH Therapeutic Driving Instructor Training and assists with Victory Farm's cart & carriage driving program.
His dedication to Victory Farm's mission and willingness to get his hands dirty has made him an invaluable member of our team. We are so blessed to have him!
